Why our firewood actually burns
Most firewood is seasoned in one enormous pile. The outside dries; the center stays wet, and that is the wood that hisses in your fireplace and coats your flue in creosote.
We season ours in IBC tote cages - open-sided crates a few feet across. Air reaches every split from all four sides, so the center dries with the outside. It lights fast, burns hot, and leaves a clean chimney.

About us
A licensed arborist, not a crew with chainsaws
Connecticut licenses arborists for a reason, and we hold license S-6040. On staff we also have a supervisory pesticide applicator, an in-house graphic designer who draws the landscape plans, and a crew that has been doing this work for years on the same streets.
Every job starts with a consultation on site. We tell you what the tree actually needs. If a weak crotch or a damaged limb can be cabled, we cable it - a saved tree is worth more than a removal invoice.
Treatments are organic-first: organic fertilizers and minerals chosen for the soil's actual deficiencies, kid- and pet-safe tick and mosquito applications, and integrated pest management instead of spraying everything on a schedule.
Every tree we remove gets replaced
When a tree has to come down, we plant a new one on your property at the right time of year. If you would rather not have another tree, we have one planted in the forest instead through a national non-profit. No charge, no asterisk.
